Rocky the Dog needs a home

Sweet Rockys owner went to hospice and there was no place for Rocky except shelter. Rocky loves his owner only has known  mature adults, bonds closely. He had a very difficult time going from a loving owner that he misses to a kill shelter but he has been out learning to be the boy he remembers before his sad day.  Rocky is intelligent,protective companion. He would be great in a home with no children as he has only known mature adults, younger settled adults without lots of activity with dif people coming & going would be fine, just not lots of visitors. Rocky is quickly learning leash training but needs little more time for perfect training. Prefer fenced yard, he is indoor dog, only outdoor for potty & play. Rocky is neutered, up to date on vacs, Heartworm Negative & chip.he was Shelter favorite!
